At South High, Weishaar served on the school paper, was a Renaissance Student and on the President's Honor Roll. He is a member of the National Honor Society, a Kansas Scholar and is an academic letterwinner. Weishaar also served on the Youth Grant Makers Council through the Greater Salina Community Foundation.

Weishaar is the son of Jeff and Deb Weishaar. He has a 4.037 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study business economics.
