Tyrelle Millard, Aurora, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Bethany College for the 2009-2010 academic year.
Millard is a 6', 173 lb. guard from George Washington High School. There he averaged 14 ppg., 2 rpg. and three assists per game. He shot 48 percent from the field, 78 percent from the line and 43 percent from beyond the arc.
Head coach Clair Oleen said he is pleased to have Millard, who led George Washington High School to the state championship game, become a part of Bethany College basketball.
"Tyrelle is a super young man who can really shoot the ball as well as pass and defend," Oleen said.
Millard is the son of Mark and April Millard. He has a 3.0 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study sports management.
