Reynolds is a 5'9", 150 lb. point guard from Frederick Douglass High School. There he was a preseason top 15 pick and earned honorable mention for his efforts on the baseball field. He averaged 7 ppg. 2 steals/game and 4 rpg. Reynolds shot 35 percent from the field and 70 percent from the line.

Bethany head basketball coach Clair Oleen said he is pleased to have Reynolds continue his education at Bethany and become a part of Bethany basketball.

"Xavier is a tremendous young man and he will fit very well into our triangle offense," Oleen said.

Reynolds, who was active in National Honor Society, is the son of Carlos and Starlette Reynolds. He has a 3.1 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study management.
