Jon Feyerherm
Recent Bethany College graduate Jon Feyerherm, who played all 4 years for Bethany College and helped the Swedes reach the NAIA National Tournament all 4 years, easily defeated Emporia State's #1 player in straight sets last weekend in 4.5 USTA league tennis action.
The win put "The Herm's" at 6-0 on the season and leading the state. Jon came out strong in the match and took it to Vaca from Emporia getting on top of him early and deflating the Emporia opponent. As Jon Feryerherm said "Playing for the Swedes for 4 years I knew I was the better prepared athlete coming into the match and if I played Feyerherm tennis, things would turn out the way I wanted."
