The public is invited to attend Alumni Sports Weekend at Bethany College, beginning September 11. Events include a golf tournament, games and a youth cheer and dance clinic.

The Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament will be September 12 at 7:30 a.m. at the Lindsborg Municipal Golf Course. Profits from the three-person scramble will support the George and Bret Stephens Endowed Scholarship, the Steve Malm Scholarship and the Brenda Krinhop Scholarship at Bethany. Prizes will be awarded; football ticket and a tailgate dinner are included.

The Lil' Swedes Cheer and Dance Clinic will be held in the evenings on September 11 and 12, and include a halftime performance during the Bethany Swedes football game against the University of St. Mary on Sept. 12. Girls ages 6 through 14 will work one-on-one with members of the Bethany spirit squads. Registration includes a clinic t-shirt and a meal.

Other events include frisbee golf, a 3-on-3 basketball competition, alumni athletic scrimmages, a Wii challenge, and a tailgate dinner before the football game. A full schedule of events is below, and is available at http://www.bethanylb.edu/.
