After a weekend off from competition last week, the Bethany College men and women's cross country teams were back at it this weekend. The Swedes competed in the Tabor Invitational on Friday, with the women finishing fifth and the men 10th.
It was a good week for Bethany as nearly every runner recorded a personal record with around 45 seconds to a minute off their time.
"Freshman Jameeka Montgomery and junior Kate Dibbern are starting to flirt with school records," said head coach Aaron Davis. "That is always exciting to see."
The men are also seeing vast progress. "Freshman Joseph Jedrzejewski improved by a minute or a minute and a half," Davis said.
Bethany has another week free of competition before heading to the FHSU Tiger Open on Saturday, October 10.
"Fitness wise, our runners are all doing well and improving," said Davis. "We still need a lot of work, but time wise, everyone is getting fit and starting to improve."
