Megan Xavier (left), sophomore midfielder from Highlands Ranch, Colo. has been named KCAC offensive player of the week, while teammate Sarah Garlock, junior keeper, Thornton, Colo., was named KCAC defensive player of the week.
             
Xavier had three goals and one assist in the three non-conference matches of the week: #1 vs. non-conference Manhattan Christian College (KS), W-1-0, she had 1 assist; #2 vs. non-conference Northwestern Oklahoma State University, W-2-0, she had 2 goals; #3 at non-conference Oklahoma Wesleyan University, W-2-0, she had 1 goals.
 
Her assist was on the game-winning goal in overtime at Oklahoma Wesleyan.

In three matches of the week, Garlock had 15 saves with no goals allowed in 285 minutes (including 105 minutes versus Manhattan Christian College). The three wins in the week were by shutout, with one in overtime. Garlock is riding a 373 minute streak of scoreless minutes in goals dating back four games to an overtime win on Tuesday September 19.

Overall the Swedes are 5-3-1 prior to the start of conference play. The team holds the top record in the KCAC Conference.
