Fresh off their first court appearance against the alumni, the Bethany College women's basketball team participated in a set of scrimmages this week.
In an effort to prepare for their first upcoming game, the squad faced Cowley County and Brown Mackie Monday evening before going head-to-head with Barton County and top-ten NJCAA ranked Hutchinson Community College on Saturday.
"The scrimmages went okay," said head coach Jim Campion. "We learned a lot. We are still in the learning process and seeing who is going to help us and where we are at as far as personnel."
The squad travels to Concordia University on Tuesday, November 3 at 6 p.m. for their first official game of 2009.
"I think we got a lot of those questions answered," Campion said. "We will see where we are at come Tuesday."
