Seven members of the Bethany College football team earned post-season KCAC honors for their efforts during the 2009 season.
The Swedes finished the season 4-6 overall and 3-6 in conference play, giving them a sixth place finish in the KCAC.
Robert Anderson, a junior wide receiver from Rialto, Calif., received second team all-KCAC honors for his outstanding play this season. He had 53 receptions for 669 yards and four touchdowns for the Swedes this season.
Christopher Jackson, a junior offensive lineman from Houston, Texas, received second team all-KCAC honors for his efforts this season. His outstanding play helped the Swedes maintain a potent offense throughout the season.
DeWayne Autrey, a sophomore punt returner from South Houston, Texas, received second team all-KCAC honors for his outstanding play this season. He averaged 12 yards per return this season while ranking number 16 in Division I for yards per attempt.
Autrey also earned honorable mention honors as a utility player after ranking number 15 in Division I in passes defended per game.
Jamil Owens, a senior defensive back from Rockwall, Texas, received honorable mention all-KCAC honors for his exceptional efforts this season. He broke up three passes this season with 24 tackles.
Jeffrey Simplice, a junior defensive back from Lake Worth, Fla., received honorable mention all-KCAC honors for his play this season. He had seven passes broken up this season with 89 tackles.
Milton Collins, a red-shirt freshman from Raytown, Texas, received honorable mention all-KCAC honors for his efforts this season. He had 59 tackles and six sacks this season.
Michael Terry, a senior defensive lineman from Bell Gardens, Calif., received honorable mention honors for his exceptional play this season. He had 42 tackles with 11 for a loss and four sacks for the Swedes.
