Murray is a third-baseman and outfielder from Crescent High School. There she has been a four-year starter. Murray also is a six-year starter on winter guard and also serves as team captain.

At Crescent High, Murray also is active in BETA Club and National Honor Society. She has been on the honor roll four years.
