Allison O'Neil, Scott City, KS, has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Bethany College for the 2010-2011 academic year.
Allison is a setter from Scott City Community High School where she was involved in National Honor Society, student council and was on the yearbook staff. She was also a forward on the basketball team while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
Bethany Head Volleyball Coach, Nathalea Stephenson said she is really excited to have Alli playing for Bethany next year. "With Alli's height she could also be a hitter and blocker for us, however, her passion is setting. She comes from a good program and one that I know teachers fundamentals and how to play hard. It will be fun watching her as she developes at the college level," Stephenson said.
Allison is the daughter of Glenn and Jenny O'Neil. She plans to study Elementary Education and Sports Management here at Bethany.
