The Bethany College men and women's tennis team continued their past season this week with a Quad Invitational against Kansas Wesleyan University, Seward County Community College, and Concordia University.
The Swede women won the Quad Invitational, finishing with 9.5 points. Seward had 9 points while KWU scored 8.5 points and Concordia had 4.5 points.
On the men's side, Seward County came in first with 17 points, followed by the Swedes with 10 points. Concordia scored 4.5 points and KWU finished last with zero points.
"It was a good day for us to get a lot of tennis in against some good teams," said head coach Vic Bateman. "Seward's men looked very tough and deserving of a top 10 JUCO ranking, while our women came through in a very tight tourney. (Freshman) Olivia Fabrizius and (sophomore) Katelin Clawson won their singles flights to help us take the title."
Bethany will travel to Texas for spring break, March 13-21.
