Fresh off a win at the Swede Invitational, the Bethany College men's golf team traveled to Westworth Village, Texas to compete in the UST Texas Intercollegiate on Sunday and Monday, March 14-15.

Sophomore Jack Hiscock tied for 66th, shooting 77 and 80, ending 13 over at 157. Junior Brock Bullard tied for 73rd, ending 14 over after shooting a 79 and 79 for a combined 158. Junior Mark Bengtson finished 91st after shooting an 85 and 84, totaling a 169 at 25 over.
"It was a poor coaching job and I did not have them ready to compete," said head coach and Bethany College athletic director Jon Daniels. "We played as poorly as I ever remember a team playing and I left the tournament embarrassed. We will be better prepared for the next tournament."
The Swedes next compete in the Bethel Invite on Saturday and Sunday, March 27-28. The event takes place in both Hesston and Sand Creek in Newton.
