Morgan Evans, senior, Yuma, Ariz., was named KCAC Player of the Week for her efforts during games played March 8-14.
In two games that week, Evans had 6-AB, 5-Hits, 0.833 B-Av., 0.833 Slugging Av., 2-Runs, 0-2B, 0-3B, 0-HRs, 2-RBIs, 1-BB, 3/3-SB/SBA.
In game one, the Swedes defeated Avila University (MO) 10-2. Evans had 3-AB, 3-Hits, 2-Runs, 1-BB, 3/3-SB/SBA. In game two, the Swedes again defeated Avila University (MO), 7-6. Evans had 3-AB, 2-Hits, 2-RBIs.
To date the Swedes are 7-10 overall. They will open conference play this week with road games at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kan.
