Jack Schoeman, a sophomore from Lexington, Ga., and junior Valentina Puchkova, Kazakhstan, were named KCAC Players of the Week for their efforts during week five.
In the week Schoeman went 4-0. Playing singles vs. Hesston he scored 6-1, 6-1, for the win, and in doubles his duo won 8-1. Playing singles vs. Tabor he scored 6-1, 6-0, for the win, and his doubles won 8-4. In four matches last week Schoeman lost a total of only eight games, including a 6-1, 6-0 win over a Tabor player who just went three sets with the #49 nationally ranked NAIA player.
 
The men's tennis team had two wins and no losses on the week. The Swedes are 4-4 overall.
Puchkova went 3-0 last week, dominating both singles matches. She won 6-1, 6-3, and in doubles they won 8-2 vs. Tabor. She won 6-1, 6-2 vs. Hesston.
 
This week the women's team had two wins and no losses. The team is 4-4 overall.
