The Bethany women took charge against the Falcons and ended the day with a commanding 8-1 victory. The men's squad also handled the Falcons without much trouble as they defeated Friends 8-1.
The Swedes then battled Kansas Wesleyan University in a home match on Thursday, April 15.
The women's squad battled KWU in a tight match-up, but the ball did not bounce the Swedes' way as they fell 5-4 to the Coyotes. The Swede men had a strong showing against KWU, shutting out the Coyotes in a 9-0 victory.
Bethany rounded out the week with a road trip to Southwestern College on Saturday, April 17. The Swede men shut out the Moundbuilders 9-0 as the Bethany women topped Southwestern 8-1.
The Swede men are now 4-0 in the KCAC, at first place, and 7-3 overall. The women are 3-1 in the KCAC, at second place, and 5-4 overall. Bethany hosts Bethel College Today and next travels to McPherson College on Saturday, April 24 at 9 a.m.
