Junior Cory Robbins closed the game, holding the Coyotes to zero runs.

The Swedes jumped out to a 1-0 lead before the game was tied at two after three innings. Bethany took a 3-2 lead before a four-run Coyote fifth as KWU went on to win 7-5.

KWU again had an early lead in game two before Bethany cut the score to 3-1. The Swedes started a comeback, but could not muster any more as Bethany fell 3-2.

"We didn't play well," said head coach Jeremy Cantrell, "and KWU played great."

The Swedes are now 11-9 in the KCAC, at fifth place, and 20-21 overall. Bethany travels to Sterling College on Friday, April 23 at 1 p.m. before hosting Sterling on Saturday, April 24 at 3 p.m.
