Bethany Men's and Women's tennis down McPherson by 8-1 and 9-0 scores respectively while the men defeat GPAC rival NWU 9-0.
The Swedes came out strong in the women's match and continued on sweeping the McPherson's women's team 9-0.  The women dominated from top to bottom and Nyska Etienne and Stacie Schoon stayed unbeaten as a doubles team in conference this year at the #1 spot.  Kjerstyn Hansen, Olivia Fabrizius, Monica Chapman and Valentina Puchkova also rolled to singles and doubles wins along with Etienne and Schoon.
Against McPherson the men grabbed a 2-1 lead after doubles and swept all 6 singles spots to win 8-1, highlighted by a high match at #1 with Shane Huggins pulling out a close one 7-5, 6-3 and still has not dropped a set in conference season.  Jack Schoeman and Fernando Paiva also stayed undefeated as a doubles team.  Caleb Jeff, Kody Koester and Derek Watson got Bethany on the board quickly in singles to clinch the match with decisive wins.
Against NWU Huggins continued his good form in defeating the #1 6-0, 6-4 and joining with Kody Koester to win the doubles 8-3.  Joining Huggins and Koester the other singles and doubles  winners were Will Wiseman, Derek Watson, Fernando Paiva and Jack Schoeman.   Coach Bateman said "we always have a good battle with Nebraska Wesleyan and played well to sweep them 9-0."
