The Bethany College track and field team competed at the Emporia State University Last Chance meet on Saturday, May 15^th. This meet was the last chance to qualify for or better the athletes' standings for the 2010 NAIA Outdoor National Championships that will be held in Marion, Ind. May 27-29.

Two athletes took first place finishes. Sophomore Jenna Koch took first place in the women's discus throw with a throw of 47.22m (154'11") and senior Amber Dunham took first place in the women's shot-put with a throw of 13.84m (45'5"). Dunham's throw also bettered her standings for nationals.
