Head Coach - 7th Season
Coach Bateman is in his seventh year at Bethany College.
 
In Coach Bateman's first six seasons Bethany has won all 6 men's and 5 of 6 women's conference titles with 5 straight NAIA National Tournament appearances for the men and 2 National tournament appearance also for the women. Under Bateman's leadership the men have not lost a conference match in 6 years going 50-0 against KCAC Conference foes during that time. 
 
In 2007 the Bethany Women led the entire country in GPA with a 3.7 overall, and in 2008 had 3 of the top 7 GPA's in the country. 
 
Coach Bateman was previously the head coach at Pratt Community College and led the men's team to a high national ranking of #16 and the women to a high national ranking of #19. Coach Bateman consistently had players raked in the top 30 nationally at Pratt Community College.

As a player in Canada Coach Bateman was nationally ranked in singles and doubles . He went on to attend Barton County College, then moved on to graduate from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City with a BS in Finance. Coach Bateman was ranked nationally in both singles and doubles in his college career, and led his team in wins both years at SNU. During the summers Coach Bateman runs the Bethany Tennis Camps at Bethany College.

Assistant Coach - 3rd Season
Coach Anthony Swiantek is entering his third year as the Assistant Tennis Coach for Bethany College, after impressing everyone in an outstanding first two seasons with the team.
 
Prior to Bethany, Coach Swiantek was a teaching professional for 3 years at the World Renowned Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. He also taught tennis at the Prairie Dunes in Hutchinson Kansas for 2 years.
 
As a player, Swiantek was the number 3 ranked junior in the state of Kansas. He also played 4 years of Varsity Tennis at Pratt High School. Winning a 4A State Championship in Doubles as a junior with a 37-0 record and finishing 5th in singles as a senior with a record of 34-1. In college, Coach Swiantek played for two years at Barton County Community College then moved on to graduate from Division I Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He finished his senior campaign with the 2nd highest win total in school history.
 
In Coach Swiantek's spare time he donates his time to various charitable works, and fixes up old cars.
