Bethany College welcomes Tyler Johnson as the new assistant women's basketball coach.
   
Johnson, a native of Lindsborg, graduated from Bethany College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and a minor in forensic science. He played basketball at the high school level for Smoky Valley.
 
Currently, Johnson is a validation chemist at Hospira, Inc. in McPherson. He is married to Molly Johnson, Bethany alum and current director of alumni development. They reside in Lindsborg.

Jim Campion - Head Coach - 2nd Season
The Bethany College women's basketball program is led by Jim Campion. A veteran coach, Campion comes to Bethany with more than 30 years coaching experience. 
 
Most recently, Campion served as athletic director of Salina Central High School. He has coached both boys and girls basketball at Salina Central. Campion also coached girl's basketball, football, and track and field at both Southeast of Saline and Sacred Heart High School in Salina. 
 
In addition to his college coaching experience, Campion has had a long successful career as a teacher. He has taught for more than 30 years as a physical education and science instructor.
 
Campion holds a bachelor's degree in physical education and health from Bethany College and a master's degree in educational administration from Kansas State University.
