Kaitlyn Davis
Hill City High School, Hill City, Kan.
 
Davis has been a high-jumper on the track team at Hill City High School for three years, finishing 4th at the state track meet in 2007 and placing 7th in 2008. Her personal best is 5'1".
 
Davis also will play volleyball at Bethany. 
 
Davis is the daughter of Carl and Julie Davis. She has a 3.42 high school GPA and plans to study physical education at Bethany                 
                        

                     
Megan Kennedy
Hill City High School, Hill City, Kan.
 
Kennedy is a javelin thrower who also will play volleyball at Bethany. Her junior year she threw 124' 3.75"
 
At Hill City High School, Kennedy was active in National Honor Society, Kansas Honor Society and also played basketball.
 
Kennedy is the daughter of Verl and Melanie Kennedy. She has a 3.88 high school GPA. At Bethany she plans to study elementary education.
 

Natasha Hollingshead
Ellis High School, Ellis, Kan.

Hollingshead is a thrower and will be competing in multiple events. She also will play basketball at Bethany. In addition to track & field and basketball, Hollingshead also played volleyball at Ellis and was on the honor roll. Despite her many activities Natasha maintained a 3.3 GPA.

Hollingshead is the daughter of Judy Hollingshead and plans to study in Bethany's pre-medicine and athletic training programs.
  



Lindell Ray Gentry, IV
Santa Fe High School, Santa Fe, Texas
 
Gentry is a shot put and discus thrower and will play football at Bethany. He earned district honorable mention honors for football and twice qualified for regional and state powerlifiting in Texas.
 
Gentry is the son of Lindell and Melody Gentry.





Erica Daniell
Elk City High School, Elk City, Okla.
 
Daniell will be competing in the high-jump and middle-distance events. While in high school she was a two- time state qualifier. She also attended all-state choir and was active in student council, jazz choir, Key Club, pep club, jazz band, concert band and National Honor Society.
Daniell is the granddaughter of Ruth Kliewer. She has a 4.0 high school GPA and plans to study physical education at Bethany.
  
  
  


Beau Brown
Santa Fe High School, Edmond, Okla.

Brown is a runner at Santa Fe High, competing in the 200m dash, 400m dash and is a member of the 400m relay team. As a junior, Brown's relay team placed third at the Oklahoma State Finals and was twice selected as Student of the Month this academic year.
 
Brown is the son of Ken and Beth Brown. He has a 3.6 high school GPA and plans to study secondary social science education at Bethany.


Jodan Dahlke
Quivira Hieights High School
 
Dahlke is a long-distance runner who will be running on the cross country and track and field teams at Bethany. At Quivira Heights, Dahlke qualified for state three years in cross country and one year in track and field. His personal bests are 16:51 - 3000m; 4:37 - 1600; and 2:08 - 800.
 
Dahlke also played football one season and basketball three seasons, twice earning all-league honors as a point guard.
 
Dahlke is the son of Jonathan and Cheryl Dahlke. He has a 3.93 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study business and accounting.

Kali Wolaver
Weld Central High School, Keenesburg, Colo.
 
Wolaver is a four-year track & field letterwinner from Roggen, Colo. At Weld Central High, Wolaver placed 12th at State her junior year in shot put. She currently is seeded second going into this year's 3A state meet. She currently is ranked 6th among all 1A-6A throwers.
 
Wolaver also played volleyball and softball two seasons and played basketball three seasons. She lettered in softball both seasons. She was an academic letterwinner four years and was active in National Honor Society her junior and senior years.
 
She is the daughter of Gloria Carpenter and Greg Wolaver. She has a 3.92 high school GPA. At Bethany, Wolaver plans to study elementary education.

William T. Nez, III
Wingate High School, Fr. Wingate, N.M.
 
Nez, Sanders, Ariz., is a distance-runner who will compete on both the cross country and track teams at Bethany. He ran on the high school cross country and track teams two years each. He was named a cross country all-start athlete by the Navajo Times newspaper, as well as cross country Rookie of the Year his junior year. His senior year he was name most improved runner for cross country, and also was awarded a Senior Appreciation Award.
 
Nez, a four-year honor roll student, has been active in National Honor Society and student council.
Nez is the son of William T. Nez, jr. and Regina Nez. He has a 3.5 high school GPA. At Bethany he plans to study athletic training.   

 
Lisa Faimon
Hitchcock County High School, Trenton, Neb.
Colby Community College

Faimon is a junior college all-American high jumper transferring from Colby Community College. At Colby she also played volleyball. In addition to track and field in high school, Faimon also played volleyball and basketball.

At Bethany, Faimon will high jump and participate in multi-events.

Faimon is the daughter of Tom and Terri Faimon. At Bethany she plans to study early childhoon education.
