Every student seeking to compete in NAIA sports for the first-time beginning in 2011 must register at PlayNAIA.org

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced today that its NAIA Eligibility Center is accepting registrations from students interested in playing college sports. PlayNAIA.org is the official clearinghouse for NAIA eligibility. Every student seeking to compete in NAIA sports for the first-time in 2011-12 or after must be registered with the NAIA Eligibility Center.

Bethany alumnus Aaron Larsen, who was drafted in the 34th round by the Oakland Athletics, has been promoted from the Arizona Rookie League to the Midwest League Oakland Athletics affiliate, the Kane County Cougars.  The Cougars are located in Geneva, Ill.  While in the Arizona Rookie League, Larsen had a record of 5-2 with a 2.98 ERA. He has accumulated 31 strikeouts while only allowing 10 walks. He has held opponent's batting average to a mere .177.

Grand Island, Neb. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and the Victory Sports Network (VSN) have announced a live video streaming partnership for the 2010-2011 athletic season.

As part of the agreement the KCAC will be able to stream an unlimited number of games on the Victory Sports Network's Livestream channel that has been specially created for KCAC events.
