Miller will begin as offensive coordinator at Bethany College beginning in fall 2012. Miller previously served Bethany from 1999 to 2003 as the offensive coordinator. He was named a 2002 AFLAC Assistant Coach of the Year and helped the Swedes win two KCAC championships. While he coached, the Bethany offense averaged over 400 yards and 33 points per game and led the nation in passing in 2001.

Miller comes to Bethany from Hiram College, Ohio, where he was the offensive coordinator for two years. From 2006 to 2009, Miller was the offensive coordinator at Malone University, Ohio, where the offense set numerous school records and was ranked in the top twenty in nation each year, averaging over 420 yards and 30 points per game. He received the Mid-States Mideast Conference Assistant Coach of the Year award following the 2008 season.

From 2004 to 2005, Miller served Tabor College, Kansas, as the offensive coordinator, helping the Bluejays win two conference championships and set nineteen school offensive records and earning the KCAC Assistant Coach of the Year each season. From 1995 to 1998, Miller served on staff at Bethel College, Kansas, coaching the quarterbacks, receivers, and tight ends. In his career, he has coached three conference players of the year.

Miller is a 1993 graduate of Bethany College. He was an all-conference running back and helped his team with two conference championships. Miller received a master's degree in education from Wichita State University.

Miller and his wife Amy, have three children, Kyle, Payton, and Katelynn.
