TeAna Crutcher - Head Coach
TeAna Crutcher comes to Bethany from El Paso, Texas, where she served as head volleyball coach for the 16 Red Diamond Back Club. She also has served as head volleyball coach at Cameron University, Lawton, Okla. (NCAA Div. II). In addition, Crutcher has served as assistant volleyball coach for numerous clubs and camps.
Crutcher earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, N.M. (NCAA Div. I) and a master’s degree in health, physical education and recreation from South Dakota State University, Brookings, S.D. (NCAA Div. I).
As a student-athlete at New Mexico State University, Crutcher was a two-year volleyball letter winner and was on the Sun Belt Conference All-Academic team two years. Crutcher also was a letter winner in track & field at New Mexico State University and a two-year volleyball letter winner at the University of Louisiana – Monroe (NCAA Div. I), where she was on the All-Southland Conference team.
Off the court, Crutcher has been a health and physical education instructor at Cameron University and South Dakota State, where she also served as wellness supervisor.
Crutcher is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, United States Volleyball Association, and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She also participated in the NCAA Diversity Workshop and NCAA Leadership Workshop.
