Joey Martinson - Assistant Coach
Joey Martinson enters his first season as an assistant pitching coach. Prior to coach duties, Coach Martinson played two seasons at Salt Lake City Community College and at Bethany College, he garnered All-American honors as well as being named Bethany College athlete of the year in 2006.
Joey Martinson was a 23rd round draft pick of the Texas Rangers. He has signed a rookie contract with the Southern Illinois Miners
“Coach Martinson will be bringing a fresh outlook to our young pitchers,” said Coach Tramel. “He will be assisting Coach Dinkel with the pitchers and this will only help in our players success.”
Coach Martinson is from Salt Lake City, UT.
