Recent Bethany College graduate Jon Feyerherm, who played all 4 years for Bethany College and helped the Swedes reach the NAIA National Tournament all 4 years, easily defeated Emporia State's #1 player  in straight sets last weekend in 4.5 USTA league tennis action.

Bethany head coach Vic Bateman was named KCAC co-Coach of the Year for both the men's and women's tennis teams. A total of 12 tennis athletes earned all-conference honors.
 
On the men's side, Adam Hambleton, a senior from Walton-on-Thames, UK, was named conference MVP while Jack Schoeman, Lexington, Ga. was named conference Freshman of the Year.
 
For the women, Nyska Etienne, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, was named conference Newcomer of the Year.

The men won 7 of 9 flights in the KCAC tournament and the women won 6 of 9 KCAC flights.  KCAC Singles winners were Adam Hambleton (#1), Ivan Rashkov (#2), Kuba Szymanski (#3), Jack Schoeman (#4), Jose Garcia (#6), Nyska Etienne (#2), Victoria Guedez (#3), Stacie Schoon (#5), Crystal Mannebach (#6).  KCAC Doubles Champions were Hambleton/Garcia (#1), Schoeman/Gonzalez (#3), Etienne/Harrell (#2), Schoon/Guedez (#3).

Both the men and women complete the KCAC regular season undefeated by defeating Tabor 9-0 on both sides.  This is the 6th straight KCAC Title for the men and the 4th in a row for the women.  The Men complete the season with a 53-1 match record in conference, while the women were 50-4.
