The Bethany College men and women's tennis team continued their past season this week with a Quad Invitational against Kansas Wesleyan University, Seward County Community College, and Concordia University.

Bethany student Nyska Etienne, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, has been awarded a grant from the Institute for International Education.

The grants, given to undergraduate and graduate Haitian students studying in the United States, were provided to help students who are facing difficulties in the wake of the Haitian earthquake.

Looking for their first win of the 2010 season, the Bethany College men's tennis team traveled to Wichita State University on Friday for a 2 p.m. match.

In Wichita State's first outdoor tennis match, the Shockers swept the Swedes 7-0.

The Bethany College men's tennis team kicked off their 2010 campaign this past weekend. The Swedes faced Collin County Community College in an exhibition Saturday morning before taking on NCAA Division II University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.

With the thought of spring creeping into the minds of people everywhere, the Bethany College women's tennis team kicked off their season this past weekend with a trip to Nebraska. The squad faced nationally- ranked Nebraska Wesleyan Saturday morning.
