Coming off their first games of 2010, the Bethany College softball team again traveled to Wichita to compete in the Friends University Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

The Swedes faced Hastings College Saturday afternoon. In a back and forth game with the Broncos, the Swedes came up with three clutch runs in the top of the seventh to secure a 9-7 victory. Senior Jacquelyn Hernandez led Bethany with a 4-for-5 performance, totaling five RBIs and two runs. Senior Sophomore Stephanie Tyler added three hits as senior Morgan Evans and junior Anita Espinoza added two hits apiece.
