The Bethany Dance Team will be featured performers at the Dancers for Cancer Benefit Recital.

The event will be held Sun. April 27, 2008 at Salina Central High School 2-4p

Proceeds benefit the Tammy Walker Cancer Center of Salina, KS.

Bethany's Dance Team represented with flying colors. Bethany's Dance Team recently competed at 2 competitions. This past week Sat. Feb. 9, 2008, where they competed and won 1st place in the collegiate dance team division of the Sunflower Classic Cheer and Dance Competition. There were 26 teams in attendance. Sophomore Captain Rachel Bouza won 1st as well in the collegiate soloist division. 

Bethany's Dance Team also recently competed at Nations Best Nationals on Jan 13, 2008 at the Topeka Expocentre. They competed in the Collegiate Hip Hop Division as well as taking 2 soloists for the Individual Collegiate Best Dancer competition.

Former Bethany Blue & Gold Dance coach, Tamara Howe, is opening her own studio in Salina, KS. Tamara recently resigned to take on the new challenge and adventure of applying her education and experience towards opening her own dance studio. The Tamara Howe School of Dance will open August 2007.
