The Bethany College men's basketball team traveled to Wichita Tuesday, March 2 as the Swedes faced off against number one KCAC seed and number 22 nationally ranked Friends University in the KCAC Championship game.

Senior Rodd Williams earned all-KCAC first-team honors.

Rodd Williams, senior, Los Angeles, Calif. has earned all-KCAC first team honors for his efforts during the 2009-2010 basketball season. Senior CJ Littlejohn and junior Vincent Ferguson have earned all-KCAC honorable mention.
Williams, a 5'11" guard, who was a unanimous pick, led the Swedes in scoring, averaging 18.23 ppg., putting him second overall in the KCAC in scoreing. He scored a season-high 33 points Jan. 4 vs. Haskell Indian Nations University.

Clayton Goggins led the Swedes with 18 points in Saturday's win over the Spires.

The Bethany College men's basketball team, the number three seed in the KCAC post-season tournament, hosted sixth-seeded Sterling College Thursday night.
Bethany jumped out to an early lead, but Sterling kept the game close later in the first half as the Swedes walked into halftime with a one-point lead. Bethany struggled early in the second half, and lost their lead before making a late run. Key three-pointers and drives to the lane drawing fouls secured the win down the stretch for the Swedes as they topped Sterling 85-70.

With a thrilling victory of Kansas Wesleyan University under their belts, the Bethany College men's basketball team headed to Southwestern College Thursday night.
The two squads stayed close in the first half, and Bethany went into the break with a one-point lead. The Swedes used 36 points off the bench and out-rebounded the Moundbuilders by 13 to help Bethany grab a 77-66 victory.
