Ashley Conrad, Gillette, Wyoming, has signed a letter of intent to play women's soccer at Bethany College for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Amanda VanLoenen, Flower Mound, Tex., has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Bethany College for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Leighanne Collister, Erica Stein, and Megan Zeigel have been named Daktronics-NAIA Soccer Scholar-Athletes for 2008.

"I'm very proud of all three of them," said head coach Steve Moore. "These girls have done just as well off the field as they have done on."

The Bethany College women's soccer team ended their regular season with a fifth place conference finish.  The Swedes traveled to Tabor College Friday afternoon to battle Tabor College in the first round of the KCAC playoffs.  However, the ball did not roll Bethany's way as they suffered a disappointing 5-0 loss.
