The Bethany College women's soccer team ended their regular season with a fifth place conference finish.  The Swedes traveled to Tabor College Friday afternoon to battle Tabor College in the first round of the KCAC playoffs.  However, the ball did not roll Bethany's way as they suffered a disappointing 5-0 loss.

Mychele Mendez, a freshman from Lubbock Texas; Tara Rose, a freshman from Platte City, Mo.; and Megan Zeigel, a senior from Carbondale, Colo. all earned second-team all-KCAC honors for their efforts during the 2008 season.

Freshman Stacey Pelayo, Chino, Calif. and freshman Megan Xavier, Highlands Ranch, Colo. earned honorable mention.

The Bethany women's soccer team traveled to Friends University on Wednesday this past week before returning home to their new turf field.  The Swedes hosted McPherson College on Saturday morning for their last regular season conference game.

The Bethany College women's soccer team continued their season this past week as they hosted the Bethel College Threshers Tuesday evening before hosting cross town rival Kansas Wesleyan University Saturday night.  Bethany split the week as they beat the Threshers 5-0 before losing a close game to the Coyotes 4-2.

The Bethany College women's soccer Swedes found their rhythm once again this past week.  The team traveled to Central Christian College on Monday before a long road trip to the University of Saint Mary on Friday.  The Swedes ended the week by traveling to Sterling College on Saturday.
