Four members of the Bethany College cross country team have been named 2012 KCAC Scholar-Athletes as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

The Swedes cross country program enjoyed a year with many personal bests and seasonal best performances. The team was committed to hard work, to their team, to training, and to their college experience as they continue their academic pursuit toward graduation. I could not be more proud of these young men and women; they push onward throughout the season with conviction and drive both athletically and academically.

Kansas City, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that the 2013 and 2014 NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country National Championships will be hosted by the Lawrence Sports Corporation and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The 2013 national championships are scheduled for Nov. 23, and the 2014 event will be Nov. 22. Rim Rock Farm will serve as the venue.
