The Swedes softball team ended the 2013 season with their second game at the NAIA Softball Championship opening round. They faced number 16 nationally ranked St. Gregory's University of Shawnee, Okla., and were narrowly defeated 2-1 on May 14.

The Bethany softball team were paired up against the number one team in the country in the opening round of the NAIA Softball Championship. The Swedes were downed 8-0 by hosts Concordia University Eagles of Irvine in six innings.

Brittany Lewis and Kelli Traffas have been named to the First-Team 2013 Capital One Academic All‐District Softball Team.

Rachel Meyer, Yorba Linda, Calif., has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Bethany College for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Jensen Wolff, a senior outfielder from Fort Collins, Colo., has received the 2013 IMA Corp., All-KCAC Champions of Character Award for softball. This is the third time Wolff has earned this award.
