Mackenzi Choitz, a sophomore from Ellsworth, Kan., and Alex Sandri, a senior from Curitiba, Brazil, have received the 2013 IMA Corp., All-KCAC Champions of Character Award for tennis.

The Bethany College women's tennis teams competed in the KCAC Tournament semi-finals at the Riverside Tennis Complex in Wichita, Kan., on May 2 and came out slowly dropping two very tight doubles matches by 9-7 scores to fall behind 3-0 after doubles to Kansas Wesleyan University. 

The women's tennis season wrapped up a solid 2013 spring regular season qualifying for the conference tournament that only the top four teams compete in. 

Kara Agamaite, junior from Murrieta, Calif., has earned the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year award for women's tennis.

This past week the Swedes tennis teams traveled to Wichita to play the Friends University Falcons on April 8 and then on to North Newton to play the Bethel College Threshers on April 13.
