CARMICHAEL CUP CUT SHORT DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Salina, Ks. The Swedes hosted their home tournament, the Carmichael Cup, of the Fall season at Salina Municipal. Unfortunately, the tournament was cut short to just an 18 Hole event because of inclement weather on Monday.

On Tuesday the Bethany A-Team finished 6th and the B-Team finished 10th overall. Some of the Swedes had a good showing leading by Will Briggs 70 (Even) being the highest finish with an 8th place finish. Mads Hasenschwandtner as well as Ollie Christopher both finished with a solid 71 (+1) in 13th place. On the girls side the Swedes finished 5th led by Freshman Logan Jakus 91 (+21) finishing 20th place.

Coming up the Swedes will be travelling to Heston, Ks to compete in the Threshers Invite hosted by Bethel College the 29th and 30th of September.
