Tennis Teams Capture KCAC Titles
Both the men's and women's tennis teams claimed regular-season and post-season KCAC titles. This is the fourth-straight year for the men and the third in four years for the women earning the championships.
The men had captured the regular-season title last week with a 7-2 win over Bethel College. They clenched the post-season crown over the weekend with a 5-0 win over Friends University and a 6-1 win over Bethel College. This is the 46th regular-season title for Bethany College men's tennis.
On the women's side, a 5-3 win over Tabor College and a 5-2 win over Southwestern College were enough to clench both regular-season and post-season titles.
Both teams enter the NAIA Regional IV as the No. 1 seeds. The men first face Tabor College in round one May 4 while the women take on Nebraska Wesleyan May 5. The tournament is May 4-5 in Hillsboro, Kan.
