SWEDES CRUISE TO 6-1 VICTORIES OVER WARRIORS

Sterling, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Tennis teams took the road to Sterling, Kan. to take on the Sterling College Warriors in a conference match-up.

The women took both doubles matches as the Warriors did not field a third team. The men won the doubles point winning two of the three matches. The #3 team (Dylan Gwilt / Diego Bsereni) cruised to a 6-1 victory while the #1 duo (Francisco Bravo / Martin Priban) won it in extras 7-6 (7-3) to clinch the point.

In singles, for the women, the Swedes took the #2, #3, #4, and #5 matches. The #6 match did not happen due to a lack of athletes. Elise Richardson (#5 singles) cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 sweep.

For the men, the #1, #3, #4, #5, and #6 singles each won their matches. Santiago Stipanov rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
