SWEDES SPLIT SEASON FINALE AGAINST EAGLES

SWEDES SPLIT SEASON FINALE AGAINST EAGLES

Lindsborg, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Tennis teams played host to the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles for the final regular season match of the year. Both teams have qualified for the KCAC Spring Tennis Championships.

The women would struggle as the Eagles would prove why they did not drop a single conference match all year. In doubles, the #1 duo of Karee Adam and Kyla Metro would take two set before falling 6-2. In singles, the Swedes continued to struggle receiving one team point due to Elise Richardson (#5 singles) winning her match after her opponent retired the match.

The men would reverse the score winning 6-1. In doubles, the men took two of three points in part to the #2 (Gustavo Cardoso / Sebastian Stipanov) and #3 (Alejandro Rico Moran / Diego Bsereni) winning their matches 6-2 and 6-1, respectively. On the singles side, the #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6 each cruised to victories with a combined score of 60-22. Gustavo Cardoso had the best outing winning 6-1, 6-1 at the #3 spot.
