13 SWEDES ANNOUNCED AS 2022-23 KCAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHOLAR-ATHLETES

Wichita, Kan. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and Barnes & Noble College are pleased to announce that 91 women's basketball student-athletes have been named 2022-23 KCAC Scholar-Athletes. Barnes & Noble College is the official sponsor of KCAC Scholar-Athlete and Scholar Team awards, and is the official campus bookstore and course material provider of the KCAC.

Bethany College and Tabor College tie for the lead in the conference with each school having 13 women's basketball student-athletes earn the scholar-athlete distinction. Sterling College is not far behind with 11 honorees. Friends University, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and the University of Saint Mary each have seven scholar-athletes. Bethel College and McPherson College have six honorees each, York University has five, and Avila University has four. Rounding out the list of women's basketball scholar-athletes are Ottawa University (three honorees) and Southwestern College (one).
