BOTH MEN AND WOMEN FALL 0-7 TO THRESHERS
North Newton, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Tennis teams took a trip down I-135 to take on conference foes the Bethel College Threshers.
Both the men and women lost the doubles point. The #3 women (Karee Adam / Elise Richardson) came the closest out of all the doubles matches, but would fall 4-6.
As for singles, on the women's side, Adam and Richardson had the most exciting matches as both went to a third set. Richardson (the #5) won her second set 7-5, but fell in the third set 7-10. Adam (the #6) won the first set 6-4, lost the second 2-6, and fell in the third 5-10.
For the men, Gustavo Cardoso (the #3) had the most excitement as he lost the first set 2-6, but narrowly lost the second set 6-7 with a 2-7 tie-breaker.

The Swedes are set to host a three-match homestand beginning with the Ottawa University Braves on Thursday, March 26. The Braves will only be traveling their men's team due to forfeiture of the season on the women's side.
