Springfield, Mo. – The Bethany College Swedes Women's Basketball team travelled over to Springfield, Mo., for a matchup with the No. 15 Evangel University Valor in AG Financial Arena.
An early 22-5 deficit in the first quarter looked daunting, but the Swedes would cut the deficit to single digits in the third quarter. Unfortunately, Evangel would close out the contest with a 50-33 run for a final score of 94-68.
Colbi Rignell would have another solid game with 16 points. Tayten Dewey would tack on another 13 points and four rebounds. Hannah Moss scored eight with a team-high seven rebounds. Becca Unruh led the team with five assists
Turnovers played a huge part in this one as the Swedes turned the ball over 23 times resulting in 26 points off turnovers.
